Our Conferences are an event organised by Primary Health Care Corporation (Qatar). They serve as a forum for the exchange of knowledge and experiences on key primary care issues, contributing towards innovation and collaboration to help shape the public health landscape at all levels.
Each conference seeks to support the agenda set out in Qatar National Vision 2030 of building a “knowledge-based economy” in which all sectors, including health, are evidence-led and make a significant impact on the population’s health and economic wellbeing.
An appropriate theme and sub-themes are identified along with speakers to provide a forum for exchange of knowledge and offers opportunities to network and collaborate.
With the success of the past edition of the Primary Health Conference in Doha held in 2020, PHCC (Qatar) held the 5th International Conference on Primary Healthcare to be held from 9-12 November 2023 in Doha. The conference was organized under the theme ‘Primary Care Today: Lessons Learnt, Future Action for Sustainability’.
In line with PHCC and global strategies, this high-level event embraced a variety of topics and methods that include cutting-edge research findings, innovations, integrated strategies, and people centred approaches for improving healthcare delivery, panel discussions, workshops, and keynote presentations.
The Primary Health Care Corporation held Qatar's 4th International Primary Health Care Conference in Doha from the 19 to 22 February, 2020.
The four day event, that honored progress and embraced the future of primary healthcare, brought together inspiring speakers and experts from across the globe to share knowledge and best practice through panel sessions, exhibitions and workshops.
The conference brought together an exciting program led by a multidisciplinary group, internationally renowned guest speakers, exchange and discuss of ideas in the field of scientific research.
The theme of the conference “Promoting Preventive Interventions, Improving the Quality of Care” recognized the rapid advances being made in research and the need for the translation of evidence into clinical practice.
